Low Back pain 2018
ABSTRACT
Aim:
Effectiveness of video assisted demonstration regarding pelvic floor muscle exercises with non specific low back pain among women.
Objective:
1. To assess level of nonspecific low back pain among women.
2. To assess effectiveness of video assisted demonstration on pelvic floor muscle exercises with pretest and posttest.
3. To compare pretest and post test scores.
4. To associate effectiveness of video assisted demonstration on pelvic floor muscle exercises with their demographic variables.
Hypothesis:
H1- There will be significant difference between levels of nonspecific low back pain before and after video assisted teaching on pelvic floor muscle exercises.
H2- There will be significant association between nonspecific low back pain with selected demographic variable.
Materials & Methods:
Quasi experimental one group pretest post test research design used. 30 sample was selected by random sampling technique. Structured questionnaire was used as research tool. Descriptive and inferential statistics used for data analysis. Paired t-test used to assess effectiveness.
Result:
Quasi experimental one group pretest post test research design used. 30 sample was selected by random sampling technique. Structured questionnaire was used as research tool. Descriptive and inferential statistics used for data analysis. Paired t-test used to assess effectiveness.
Conclusion:
The majority of women are having moderate disability. There is marginal significance between pretest and post test scores.
